Behind the Brand

Ella Bing is a family-owned company. It was created in the summer of 2012, in order to help heal the founding family, due to the unexpected death of brother, Matt, by suicide. While living in Manhattan, rather than buying bow ties, mother, Lisa, would handmake bow ties for him. Thus the idea to start a bow tie company around an item Matt loved to wear. Our mother still makes many of the products we sell to this day. In an effort to increase knowledge around suicide prevention & awareness, Ella Bing proudly donates a portion of each sale to the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay.
